Vote Everywhere

Vote Everywhere is Building a Movement

Vote Everywhere is a national, non-partisan, civic engagement movement of student leaders and university partners. The program provides extensive training, resources, as well as a peer network to support its Ambassadors while they work to register voters, bring down voting barriers, and tackle important social justice issues on their college campuses. Since the launch of the program in 2014, our Ambassadors have accomplished the following:

877

Community Events ?

45,161

Voters Registered ?

643,748+

Students Impacted ?

The AGF Difference

Our innovative three-pronged approach brings together student leaders, campus administrators, and university resources to provide campus-specific support and enable long-term change on campus.

How it Works

Official Home on Campus

With each election cycle, voter engagement organizations appear and disappear on campus. In contrast, AGF enters into a contractual agreement with each college and university, thereby creating an enduring partnership. Our campus partners appoint an administrator, called a Campus Champion, to oversee the program. Together, Campus Champions and AGF staff work with Ambassadors to navigate the needs and requirements of each institution.

Building a Leadership Pipeline

The Vote Everywhere Ambassadorship is typically a three-year commitment. Students enter the program during their sophomore year and are encouraged to continue throughout their academic career. While in the program, Ambassadors develop strategic organizing skills and advocate for their community’s voting and civil rights. To support their work, students receive a stipend, activities budget, and ongoing mentorship, support, and training from AGF’s staff and network of social change leaders.

Voting is Just the Beginning

Vote Everywhere goes beyond voter registration. Our students become campus organizers who take action alongside their peers to awaken and encourage lifelong commitments to participatory democracy.
